Traveling Vocation Chalice
A vocation is God's Voice calling us under the cover of daily events, or the people we meet, or the circumstances we find ourselves in.  God calls us to many directions in our lives, single state, married state, parenthood, but in implementing the Traveling Vocations Chalice in our parish, we want to concentrate on His call to the Priesthood or to the Religious Life.

There are many references in Scripture to God calling ordinary people to service.  "The harvest indeed is great, but the laboures are few.  Pray, then, that the Father in heaven will send more labourers, "Our Lord Jesus Christ said.  To hear and respond to God's call, the seed of openness must be planted within the individual.
Taken from The Traveling Vocations Chalice Prayer Book by Serra Club of Louisville, Ky.
Through this ministry and prayer, Church of Annunciation has had, Fr. Jason Harris become a Priest for the Archdiocese of Louisville.
